Sahs families got competitive during our Family Reading Night scavenger hunt last evening. Everyone had a great time completing reading and literature challenges and missions around the building. Thanks to everyone who contributed to a great event!

Dear Sahs Families, Tonight is Family Reading Night at Sahs School! We are looking forward to an evening full of literacy activities and fun for the entire family! Please enter through the auditorium doors (Doors #7) If you would like to save time tonight, you can check in ahead of time using this link: https://forms.gle/Tez2qZMCPpppE8G7A Throughout the evening, we will be using an app called GooseChase. Please take a moment to locate that app in your app store & download it. (The app is free!) You will receive the code for our literacy scavenger hunt at Family Reading Night. If you did not drop off your pumpkin for the pumpkin contest this morning, you can still bring it tonight! A teacher will be in the auditorium checking in the pumpkins. Last but not least, please be sure your phone is fully charged!

Friday is Principal Appreciation Day! Let's show our Sahs school spirit for Ms. Toschi by wearing our Sahs gear or any blue items. Let's color drench the school with our Blue and/or Sahs gear.

Thanks to the South Stickney Sanitary District Team, the water main is fixed and we have water back at Sahs! Thank you also to all of our families who flexed today and were able to get kids picked up early. Our staff was amazing and we were able to make changes happen quickly! We have an amazing Sahs Community!

Due to a water main break at Sahs, we need to dismiss all Sahs students at 1:15 today. All students should be picked up from school at 1:15 today. We apologize for this situation but it is outside of our control and we cannot have students in the building without running water. After school events cancelled.

Did you know that Sahs School has preschool spots still available for 3-4 year olds? Classes are available in both English & Spanish. There is NO cost to families for preschool at Sahs. Contact the office at 708-458-1152 for more information.

Reavis High School is sponsoring a baseball camp for children ages 7-14. Thank you to all of the families who attended the Taste of Sahs on Friday night! We enjoyed sharing cultural dishes and socializing with Sahs families! Thank you to the Bilingual Parent Advisory committee who assisted in setting up this event!

Last week Prek-5th grade students visited the Central Stickney Fire Department to learn about fire safety! Special thank you to our Central Stickney Firefighters and Chief McMahon!!
