A great night of Science last week at Sahs with our Science Fair and our Family Science Night: STEM Around the World. Cogratulations to the science fair winners- we had some amazing projects and presentations. And lots of learning and fun traveling to different countries during STEM Around the World.

Today we recognize and honor our School Board Members. Our school board members wear many hats; they are education leaders, policy makers, negotiators, and budgeteers. We are grateful for all of the veterans who have served our country in each branch of the military. Today, we would like to extend a special recognition to those that have a connection to our Sahs community. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1W1ZnRjDFxEWSobZz9YU-FvBqrZex3ILL/view?usp=sharing Also, through the efforts of our students and staff, we have raised $501.15 for the Wounded Warrior organization, which will be matched today by USAA, so our donation in total will be over $1000! In addition, we have also collected candy that will be sent to the troops currently stationed, as well as cards that students made.

Thank You School Board! The Central Stickney District 110 community is happy to celebrate and recognize our Board of Education this week on Board Member Appreciation Day, November 15, 2024. We will formally recognize our board members at the November school board meeting. We would love to have input from our families, staff, and community members.
