Hello Sahs Families! Due to our two days of elearning, we find ourselves with an over abundance of meals for the week. If any families would like to pick up pasta meals that include fresh fruit, veggies, and milk, please come to the community room doors between 12:00-1:00 today. We have many meals to distribute so bring a bag or a box to collect your meals.

6th graders wrapped up their MesoAmerica Unit with some fun! Pok-A-Tok was an ancient Mayan ballgame played with a solid rubber ball, where players used their hips, knees, and elbows to propel it through high stone rings on a large court. Although it was played by people from all levels of Maya society for fun, Pok-A-Tok was also used as a way to settle conflicts between warring groups and noblemen

Students enjoyed creating and animating their robotic animals using our new Birdbrain robotics kits. They had to design, build and program their animals to move, make sounds, and light up. Success for all teams!

Ms. Dyrkacz's 8th grade health class is learning about child development and joined some of the preschoolers for centers. Everyone enjoyed working with their buddies.
