PTA's mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

The Charles J. Sahs School PTA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the well-being of the students of School District 110. Our organization is guided by an approved set of bylaws and the requirements set forth by the http://www.illinoispta.org/

With the support from staff and administration as well as the community as a whole, the Charles J. Sahs PTA looks forward to sponsoring and co-sponsoring many events and programs throughout the school year such as student assemblies, the Santa Shop, the Christmas Bazaar, the Christmas Program, Bingo Night, various family activities, the Staff Appreciation Luncheon, and the 8th Grade Dinner/Dance. Because of our members, Sahs School PTA is able to continue to support our school library via the Scholastic Book Fair and provide a variety of awards and scholarships to our staff and students, such as the Heart of Sahs award, valedictorian and salutatorian scholarships, and the Reavis scholarship.

PTA dues directly support your child and advocacy efforts at the local, state, and national levels, impacting decisions affecting your child's health, safety and quality of education. PTA dues support our work to strengthen connections between your family, your child's classmates and their families, and teachers to build a thriving and inclusive community for everyone.

Remember, there is no right or wrong way to be involved- anything you can give, whether it's time, gifts, talents or finances, it's an investment in your child and their potential. We can do more together than apart. There is no wrong way to PTA!
